Congee with peanut and dried fish


I like congee very much , this is one of my family's eating habits , you always can see the congee in my kitchen .Besides rice gruel , we often eat polenta , millet congee , congee with mung bean , pumpkin porridge , sweet potato congee etc . When the Laba Festival coming , my mother will do Lba porridge . When I worked in Singapore , I often buy congee with peanut and dried fish from the food court near Bugis . I like eat the sweet salty favor , rice is soft , peanut and fish taste is very strong in the porridge , it will make you feel comfortable , and have the function of inflammation . So Singapore's young and old are all like it very much ! Good food to share with other people because I hope the more people to like congee , have the time you can try do this congee .


Flavor : sweet salty and soft


Ingredient :

3/4 cup rice
50g peanut
20g dried fish
5g salt
5 cup water
2g peppers ( According to different taste )


Directions :

















1、Rinse dried fish , drying . Use hot water to soak the peanut 30 minutes .





























2、Rinse the rice , strips off peanut the skin .





























3、The rice , peanut and dried fish put into automatic electric rice cooker , add water , mix well , then start cooking . Removed when the congee cooked , add salt and serve .

Another caveat : You also can use the soup pot do congee , the step 1 and step 2 same as above , and then asdd the water in the soup pot , use the big fire heating water until boiling . Add dried fish , peanut and rice into soup pot , stir evenly , heating food until boiling , turn to low flame cooking , when rice cooked add salt , remove .



Experience : We spend many time to cooked the congee , so the ingredients will be fully ripe and easy to be absorbed by human body , and you need not too much to chewing . You can make vegetarian porridge , also can do in the meats for the materials of porridge . The point : suitable for yourself is the most important !
